How to measure your surface?
You will need a tape measure, calculator, pen and paper.
1. Measure the length of the area in question with a tape measure. Jot this down on a piece of paper. Label this measurement "length."
2. Get the width of the area. Write this down, and label it "width."
3. Multiply the length by the width
4. You now have the square footage
