Gray-Out Oil Cleaner & Organic Stain Cleaner

car-oil-stain-800pix72.jpgMost people try to clean oil stains from concrete with old school methods which tend to do nothing and in some cases stain permanently the concrete or damage the concrete. Some methods that we hear are burning oil with gasoline, use bleach, use WD40, use vinegar, use soap, use easy off, or the most common Simple Green or many other liquid oil cleaners.

The problem with oil stains is that if they are not cleaned immediately, they penetrate deep into the concrete, and it becomes impossible to clean. Most Liquid cleaners work with fresh new oil stains, because the oil has not deeply penetrated the concrete, so it easily cleans a surface stain.

In most cases by the time, we see the stain it has penetrated the concrete. The only effective way is to extract the oil. This is where SealGreen Gray-Out Waterless Oil Cleaner is the only product that uses enzymes to reach the deep oil stains and instead of floating the oil stain to the top of the concrete it breaks the oil and eats it converting it into CO2 (carbon dioxide). Therefore, it cleans the stain completely and does not have an impact on the environment, water or damages your concrete.

The application is very simple

  1. The oil stain needs to be dry. Use paper towels or something to dry the oil stain (maybe cheap cat litter).
  2. Apply the SealGreen Gray-Out with a dry brush and just dust off the stain until you can not see it. More is not better, just dust it off! Your job is done.
  3. The SealGreen Gray-Out will stick permanently to the surface within 2 to 3 days by using the natural humidity in the air. If it rains wait for the surface to dry out and apply more Gray-Out where it has washed away.
  4. The enzymes will activate upon contact with the oil stain, and they will slowly start crawling into the microscopic pores of the concrete following the oil no matter how deep it is. The deeper the longer it will take to clean the oil.
  5. In some cases, you will need to apply more SealGreen Gray-Out if you notice that the area that you treated is showing some oil stain. Just treat the area where it is showing. This means that the enzymes have eaten as much oil as they can and need more Gray-Out to continue cleaning.
  6. Once the SealGreen Gray-Out has done its job the powder will disappear, and it will leave the concrete clean with no oil stains or damaging the concrete surface.
  7. This is a slow process, and it may take weeks or months before all the oil is removed. Patience is required.
  8. We purposely made the powder light gray color to match the color of new concrete. So, when applied it looks like you remove the oil stain. For older concrete we recommend treating the entire section of concrete where the stain is, this helps make it less obvious.

Many Homeowners Associations HOAs or apartment managers have approved the use of the product, as well as many government, cities, and public places using the product to maintain their properties looking great. Cleaning responsibly.
