ReUse Concrete Sealing, the manufacturer of SealGreen Environmentally-Friendly Concrete Cleaning and Sealing Products, provides a complete line of green cleaners, stains and sealers for concrete, brick, and natural stones.  K-Dot Sponsor-A-Highway/Adopt-a-Highway ---- The Kansas Department of Transportation started the Adopt-A-Highway program in December 1989, with the first pick-ups starting in April 1990. Litter pollutes the land and waterways in Kansas and can be harmful to people and animals. Adopting a highway helps the environment, saves tax dollars, and gives groups a chance to get involved in the community. It is up to us to be responsible and keep our state looking great. We have gladly joined them in this statewide effort and adopted the section of Interstate Highway 435 between Metcalf and Nall in the Overland Park, KS area. Spring Hill, KS Chamber of Commerce ---- We are deeply involved with the Spring Hill Chamber because not only is this the place where we do business but we also live there. The chamber functions as "A voice that promotes planned economic growth by linking people in business, government and the community." Olathe Chamber of Commerce ---- The Olathe Chamber of Commerce shares our values in being very proactive towards keeping our environment clean for our children and the future. The Olathe Chamber of Commerce has formed a special task force and has begun an Environmental Sustainability program that will encourage businesses to adopt best green practices. It is developing a business-oriented first-time event: “Olathe Celebrates Earth Day,” http://www.olathe.org/sustainability/ which will provide our community with a chance to recycle e-waste, shred documents, check gas cap emissions, recycle ink and toner cartridges, paper, plastic, and aluminum, and other environment-friendly activities. It is also developing a page on the Chamber’s Web site to provide tips on environmentally-healthy workplaces and to promote member awards and activities in this area.
