E10 Epoxy Concrete Sealer
SealGreen E10 - Epoxy Sealer
||SealGreen E10 Epoxy recommended for stain enhancement, new stamped concrete, driveways, warehouse floors, entries, sidewalks, patios, basement floors, as a sub floor vapor barrier, use between concrete floor and carpet, wood flooring, ceramic tile, inside and outside floors, also recommended for areas were low maintenance and durability is required.
SealGreen E-10 Epoxy is an environmentally friendly, low odor, clean water extendable, concrete primer, moisture barrier
SealGreen E-10 Epoxy is acceptable for use in schools, health care, commercial and industrial buildings. SealGreen E-10’s quick cure is ideal for retail stores where a moderate moisture barrier is required and ready for walking traffic in 1 hour.
The unique properties penetrate the concrete surface to form a non-removable, semi-resilient barrier that quickly cures for walking foot traffic in less than 1 hour. The surface remains compatible with flooring adhesives. SealGreen E10 Epoxy is the latest in sealing using One Part Epoxy waterborne technology. The High Performance sealer was designed for high traffic applications; therefore it has a high percent of solids and can achieve even stronger results with multiple coatings.
SealGreen E-10 Epoxy will not chip, soften, peal or de-laminate in the presence of water vapor emission, alkalinity, and relative humidity. The chemistry remains resistant to extreme alkalinity (12.5-14pH) when applied to prepared concrete.
With environmental concerns on the rise, SealGreen E-10 Epoxy compliments the green product movement with its low VOC content and low odor. Equipment, tools and material can be cleaned by a damp cloth during the initial application.
The basement is part of the foundation of your home. It is typically surrounded by dirt, which contains high levels of moisture. This moisture, when it comes into contact with the concrete walls and floor, soaks through the concrete appearing in the inside of your home as humidity, this causes odor in basements, mold, mildew, wet floors, cracked floors, concrete dust, and sweaty walls, and depending on the area you live you may even have other problems. With time all basements eventually develop hairline cracks due to settlement. If you're planning to finish your basement you need to seal the concrete to avoid expensive carpet or flooring repairs later. All this can be prevented or stopped if you seal your concrete walls and floors first we recommend SealGreen E10 Epoxy Sealer for the floors.
Modern, airtight houses draw from the ground more moisture. Water seeping through the concrete evaporates and enters the home as a vapor (moisture). The average basement (or slab) lets in over 15 (10) gallons of water each day - several times more than showering and cooking combined! The basement or slab is by far the single largest source of humidity in your home. By sealing your basement or slab with SealGreen sealers you will reduce humidity, mildew, and musty odors, cracks, and concrete disintegration.
Most new basements develop water seepage within 10 to 15 years due to settlement of the structure. Efflorescence ("white powder") musty odors are the first warning signs. Basements are the No. 1 complaint of homeowners: over 60% of homes have a wet basement 1 in 3 have some mold and mildew, and over 2% have the toxic "black mold". 1 out of 5 homes has an elevated level of other toxic problems such as radon gas.
Unfortunately, by the time we have lived in the home for several years we have also finish the basement and it becomes more very expensive to re-mediate humidity and mole problems. Sealing the basement or slab is particularly important in energy-efficient homes with low fresh air ventilation
