Color Stain Boost is designed to work with Smith’s Color Floor stains to enhance adhesion and seal the concrete surface. For outside use only.
Description: Color Stain Boost is an additive for Smith’s Color Floor water-based stains, which not only promote adhesion for the base and primary colors but also increases durability of the stains and seals the concrete floor.
Instructions: The recommended dilution ratio is 1 part color concentrate, 2 parts Color Stain Boost to 2 parts distilled water. Agitate mixture to produce a ready to use stain. The opacity is controlled by the amount of Color Stain Boost and water added to color concentrate.
If desired dilution rate differs from recommendation, maintain a 50% Stain Boost to 50% water ratio when creating the ready to use stain. If High Hide version of color concentrate is required, only mix the first coat with water and Stain Boost, apply additional coats of color stain over the first coat to build color density, additional coats should only be mixed with water (no Color Stain Boost).
