Brick Sealer, Natural Stone Sealer and Concrete Sealer with salt defense technology is a 5 Year One-Part, VOC compliant (meets or exceeds Clean Air Standards), penetrating sealer providing excellent water repellent designed to seal dense and porous surfaces such as brick, stone, split-face block, cinder block, aggregate expose stone, and limestone. As this sealer penetrates into the surface, it reacts with the silica to form a strong permanent bond beneath the surface which prevents water molecules from penetrating while still allowing the free movement of air and moisture vapor (breathability). The chemical bonds formed in this process allow SealGreen Brick and Stone Sealer to become an integral part of the material and thus provide long-term water repellent protection as well as a life-span of up to 5 years before re-treatment is required. Penetration is up to ¼ inch or more depending on surface porosity and moisture content at the time of application.

SealGreen Brick and Stone Sealer with Salt Defense Technology– is effective on vertical and horizontal surfaces as well as old or new concrete, brick or stone surfaces. This sealer is clear, non-yellowing, does not change the color or texture of the surface and creates little or no gloss. It is available in ready-to-use or in concentrate formula (mixes with any drinkable water) which significantly reduces shipping costs and storage requirements.

SealGreen Brick and Stone Sealer exhibits good beading effects, is mildew and fungus resistant and is highly resistant to alkali attack. It provides excellent protection from efflorescence (white powder) and freeze/thaw. It also protects bridges, parking structures, parking lots, and any surface requiring outstanding corrosion resistance and protection from chloride penetration.

Pretreatment for paint is another use for SealGreen Brick and Stone Sealer. Water can penetrate through most paints and coatings leading to damp substrates and peeling of the paint. Using this sealer to pre-treat concrete, brick or stucco prior to painting keeps walls drier and extends the life of the paint. SealGreen is compatible with most latex and other paints; however, to assure compatibility a small test application is recommended.
